English exams required to study in the UK

If you want to study in the UK and English is not your first language, you must demonstrate your level of English by taking an approved English exam.

Universities indicate their English language requirements through different exams: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic or Cambridge English Advanced (also known as Certificate in Advanced English/CAE or Cambridge ESOL). They indicate the minimum overall score and usually the minimum scores required in writing, speaking, listening and reading.

However, we recommend that you take the IELTS which is a secure English language exam recognized for all UK visa categories.

RADAR TOUR can guide you through each step of the application process to any UK university, ensuring that you meet the English language requirements to get your offer.
